A Climate Risk Assessment of Sovereign Bonds’ Portfolio
The Global Development Policy Center and the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future invite you to attend an upcoming seminar, “A Climate Risk Assessment of Sovereign Bonds’ Portfolio,” featuring Irene Monasterolo, Assistant Professor of Climate Economics and Finance at Vienna University of Economics and Business.Prof. Monasterolo, a Pardee Center post-doctoral associate from 2015-2017, is a development economist with experience in policy monitoring and evaluation; institutional capacity building; governance of evidence based sustainability policies; complex system thinking for modelling the resource-climate nexus; green fiscal and monetary policies for financing the green economy; adaptation tools for building agricultural resilience to climate change, focusing on food risk and climate adaptation.The event will take place on Friday, June 7 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm at the Global Development Policy Center at 53 Bay State Road.To attend, kindly RSVP to gdp@bu.edu.
