IS&T RCS Tutorial - Introduction to Python scikit-learn
Scikit-learn is a very popular python library for data analysis and machine learning (ML). In this tutorial, instead of digging deeply into different ML model algorithms, we will focus on introducing handy tools from scikit-learn that are generally used for various ML projects, which include data preprocessing, model selection, and data visualization. Students will construct a simple machine learning project. This tutorial is intended as an introduction for people who might want to use ML techniques in their research.<P>Prerequisite: If you are new to the Python programming language we strongly recommend that you also register for the “Introduction to Python” two-part tutorial.
