Info Session: Resident Sustainability Leaders Program

In support of Boston University’s Climate Action Plan, sustainability@BU is launching a new Resident Sustainability Leaders (RSL) program, beginning with a pilot at Warren Towers for Academic Year 2019-2020.

The RSL program is a 20-hour per week, year-long commitment to promote sustainability in dorms and provide support to residents on sustainability subjects ranging from recycling to energy, water, waste, and more.

We are seeking students who will be our partners in piloting and learning from this experience in order to build a robust program in dorms across campus in the coming years.

We are seeking candidates who are: -Rising sophomores and juniors with a deep commitment to sustainability and to the BU community. -Students whose personal sustainability experiences are an important part of their lives and who can share their interests and enthusiasm while also acting as a resource for other students.

Learn more: Applications will be available on our website the week of March 25 and will be accepted through mid-April. The selected students will take part in training this summer and will be compensated via free room and board. We encourage interested students to join us for an Info Session on Monday, March 25 at 7:00 pm at the Academy Room (room 124) of the George Sherman Union (GSU).
