Stop Teaching and Writing Lab Reports! Integrating Research-based Writing into First-Year Chemistry Courses
This talk, the Spring 2019 Writing in the Field Lecture sponsored by the CAS Writing Program, will highlight one of the most innovative STEM-related writing initiatives in the country. Pedagogically sophisticated and student acclaimed, BU’s First-Year Chemistry writing program is a model curricular initiative for other STEM departments. Come to hear this clearly articulated argument for the centrality of writing in undergraduate science education.
