PEP TRAINING - Creating Safe Spaces for Adolescents in School Settings

For this proposed workshop, social workers will learn how they can create safe spaces for adolescents not only in sessions but also creating safe spaces such as groups, family & teacher partnerships facilitated by the social worker and creating a safe environment at schools that are not entirely trauma-sensitive. Participants will learn the different ways they can provide support for adolescents in school settings. This workshop uses lecture, Power Point presentations, videos and case presentations in order for participants to gain a better understanding on how to support adolescents in school settings.
