David Lammy, Labour Member of Parliament for Tottenham, in Conversation with Graham Wilson
David Lammy has been the Labour Member of Parliament for his home constituency of Tottenham since 2000. He served for 8 years (2002-10) as a Minister in the last Labour government, including as Culture Minister and Higher Education Minister, and was appointed to the Privy Council in 2008. Since 2010, David has been an active backbench MP. He is author of Out of the Ashes: Britain after the Riots, an analysis of the long-standing causes of the 2011 riots. Graham Wilson is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Initiative on Cities at Boston University. His current research focuses on the role of governments in competition for primacy between leading financial centers around the world.
