Wrongful conviction panel
A panel and reception to discuss wrongful convictions sponsored by WGBH public radio and the New England Center for Investigative Reporting. Hear from Victor Rosario of Lowell who was convicted of murder in a fatal fire that killed eight people in 1982. Rosario’s advocates questioned the evidence and, after NECIR reporters from Boston University shed light on his case, prosecutors abandoned efforts last month to keep him in prison— but not until he spent three decades there.
