Town Hall Meeting of the Provost’s ad hoc Committee on International Student Experiences & Institutional Impact
Boston University's international profile and character are longstanding strengths on which we are committed to continue building. Our institutional success in attracting increased numbers of students from diverse backgrounds and around the world has brought a renewed set of challenges and opportunities for self-evaluation and development of the university as a vibrant and fully intentional global learning community. What next steps should BU take to support the academic thriving and social engagement of our international students in the broader context of educating all BU graduates for success in today's global society? Join the town hall meetings on the Charles River and Medical campuses to discuss this important question. BU Town Hall Meetings are informal gatherings that provide the members of the BU community with an opportunity to discuss important issues. A typical Town Hall Meeting is attended by faculty, staff, students, and senior management, giving everyone a chance to talk personally in a relaxed environment about the things that matter to them. Representatives of the Provost’s Committee will attend all meetings. The meetings will be offered on both the Charles River and the Medical campuses. For all dates and locations, refer to the Committee website, at www.bu.edu/provost/initiatives/iseii/.
