Kosher Wine Tasting and Salon: "Manischewitz It’s Not: Ruminations of a Kosher Vintner"
Join the Elie Wiesel Center for Judaic Studies on January 23rd, 2014, from 5:30pm to 7pm for a taste of Peter Paul and Covenant wines and a talk by winemaker Jeff Morgan called, “Manischewitz It’s Not: Ruminations of a Kosher Vintner.” Taste the difference! Jeff's Covenant wines have been called "the greatest kosher wines on the Planet Earth" by wine critic Robert Parker. Jeff is a former wine critic himself--ex-West Coast editor of Wine Spectator magazine--and the author of 8 books on food and wine. He will be pouring 3 of his renowned Covenant Napa Valley wines during his talk along with a special treat from Peter Paul as well. Seating is extremely limited, so please make your reservation now! To reserve your seat for the January 23rd tasting and lecture, please write to judaics@bu.edu and include “salon event” in the subject line. We will be sending out confirmations the week of January 13th. This is a 21+ event For more on Jeff Morgan, Covenant Wines, and Peter Paul Wines see the following links: Wines and Vines and “Napa Maker of Kosher Wines Says His Faith Came Through The Vine” (NYTimes)
