Doubt: A Parable
Stage Troupe's annual charity show this year is John Patrick Shanley's Doubt: A Parable. All of the proceeds will go to Prevent Child Abuse America - http://www.preventchildabuse.org/index.php It’s 1964, and Sister Aloysius, an older nun at a Catholic church and school in the Bronx, is suspicious. She notices the priest, Father Flynn, is taking a special interest in the boy Donald Muller, and asks for the help of the young and idealistic Sister James in investigating Father Flynn’s intentions. Secrets spill or come close to so doing, the boy’s mother gets involved, and all the while, there is an undeniable sense of doubt in the air... Tickets will be sold at the door starting at 6pm on the days of the show. They are a minimum of $5 but whatever you are willing to donate is greatly appreciated.
