European Voices: A Reading and Conversation with Romanian author Mircea Cartarescu
Join us for a reading and conversation with Romanian author Mircea Cartarescu and a celebration of the publication by Archipelago Books of the first volume of Blinding, one of the most widely heralded literary sensations in contemporary Romania, and a bestseller from the day of its release. The discussion will be moderated by Cornel Ban, Assistant Professor of International Relations, also from Romania. Free and open to the public. Reception and book-signing to follow. This event takes place as part of our “European Voices” series – an ongoing series of conversations with artists and writers, activists and intellectuals exploring questions at the intersection of politics and culture. Co-sponsored by the literary journal AGNI.
