Vinho Verde
Come join Master of Wine Sandy Block for an exploration of Vinho Verde, the charming low alcohol Portuguese white wine that is justly renowned for spring and summer time enjoyment. The hilly region between the Minho River (separating Portugal from Spain) and the Douro River (where Port originates) is home to over fifty native grape varieties. We will learn firsthand about the synergy between seafood and the refreshingly crisp, bone dry, lively white wine that these varieties create.
