F for Fake

Join the BU Film Society as we screen our Cinema? Series of two films that both redefine the medium: Close Up and F for Fake. The series concludes with Orson Welles's 1973 free-form documentary, F for Fake, which explores the themes of trickery, deceit, and authorship. The legendary filmmaker (and self-described charlatan) gleefully engages the central preoccupation of his career—the tenuous line between truth and illusion, art and lies.
