BU Venture Start-up Camp - Application Process Now Open!
Explore Your Entrepreneurial Spirit! This is a summer program designed to help you get your entrepreneurial venture off the ground. If you have a business concept that you are interested in working on and validating as a future business, this program is for you. If you are accepted into the program, you will be given incubator space for the summer and will be expected to work on your business for at least 20 hours/week in the incubator. During this period you will be given mentoring help by experienced entrepreneurs and will be connected with subject matter experts and investors that can help further your business. By the end of the program you will have: -Perfected your elevator pitch -Validated your business model -Designed a “go to market” strategy -Tested your product -Met with attorneys to get legal advice -Participated in networking events -Written an executive summary -Prepared an investment presentation -Presented your idea to qualified investors Applications will be reviewed by the two Program Directors and must demonstrate: -Commitment to the idea by your team -Interesting and novel business concept -Evidence that that this program will help you make significant progress in validating and furthering your idea
