Jack Falla Speaker Series: Ben Sturner
On Tuesday, March 5th, we welcome alum Ben Sturner (COM '99) for the Jack Falla Speaker Series. Sturner founded the Leverage Agency in 2005 in New York City. The Leverage Agency has collectively sold over $100 million in sponsorships through strategic relationships and extensive contacts with Fortune 500 brands and sports properties at all levels. Through Ben's entrepreneurial spirit and vision, Leverage has emerged as a leader in sports and entertainment marketing by uniting brands with impactful platforms for leagues, teams, events, athletes, television shows and digital media. They are also the agency of record for reddit, the front page of the internet.Ben is the founder of Manhattan Sports Business Academy (MSBA), an 8 week summer program for future leaders in sports communication. For more information on the Leverage Agency go to - http://www.leverageagency.com. For more information on MSBA go to - gomsba.com.Ben will share how BU/COM and Jack Falla were both instrumental in his career. We are excited to bring this terrific COM alum back to campus! RSVP required as space is limited. The Jack Falla Speaker Series honors the late, great Jack Falla, who famously held class at 8 a.m. to ensure the enrollment of only dedicated students. Jack sadly passed away four years ago, but we honor his memory by continuing his genuine devotion to students. Jack always recruited fantastic guest speakers, often COM alumni, for his classes, ones that formed lasting memories and connections.Jack Falla Speaker Series events are free and open to the BU community. For questions, contact Micha Sabovik: msabovik@bu.edu.
