Events 101
Part of Human Resources Get Trained Training Series If you’ve ever been tasked with planning and hosting an event on campus, you know there is much more involved that just finding an appropriate venue. In this session, you’ll learn about all of the different components that go into planning any event on campus and the steps you need to take to bring all those components together. Understand why you need to answer the questions of who, what, when, where, why, and how before you even begin planning your event. You’ll also discover a host of event details you may never have even considered. You will leave this session equipped with the tools and processes necessary to effectively plan and host your next event, whether it is a board meeting for 10, a dinner for 250, or a multi-day conference for 400. The services of Events & Conferences will also be discussed.
