Days of Heaven Screening – BUFS Man vs. Nature Series
BUFS February Screening Series: Man vs. Nature Join the BUFS as we screen two films, both on the theme of Man vs. Nature. Auteur Terrence Malick's seminal film Days of Heaven emphasizes man's brutality toward nature, while Werner Herzog's award winning documentary, Grizzly Man, shows nature's brutality toward man. Days of Heaven's cinematography has been hailed as the best of all time. The film is about "A hot-tempered farm laborer who convinces the woman he loves to marry their rich but dying boss so that they can have a claim to his fortune." The film was shot almost entirely during magic hour!
