BU Bike's Bicycle Mechanics Class
Classes on Saturdays from 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm and make up on Mondays from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Classes will begin with a 30-45min lecture on a specific part of the bike and then the rest of the class will consist of students overhauling that part on their own bike. If you do not own a bike but still want to learn mechanics you are more then welcome to come watch the lesson and partner up with someone who brought a bike. The class will cover all basic mechanics starting from names of parts and ending with derailleurs and shifting. Students are recommended to attend every class but if you prefer to only come for specific lessons that is also acceptable. We are also looking for volunteers to help give one on one advice during mechanics time with the students. If you are interested you can email Ben Goodman at bengood@bu.edu
