TIME CHANGE: Boston Musica Viva 20th Annual Family Concert
NOTE: As of 2/9/13 at 3:45pm, the time has been changed to 7pm.Program includes Bernard Hoffer: Ma Goose; Samuel Headrick: The New Kid (world premiere). Featuring:Steve Aveson, narrator, and the Northeast Youth Ballet, Denise Cecere, Artistic Director. The Northeast Youth Ballet and NECN anchor Steve Aveson return to BMV’s Annual Family Concert with a revival of Hoffer’s Ma Goose, a playful reimagining of Mother Goose nursery rhymes. In Samuel Headrick’s children’s ballet The New Kid, a student responds bravely to bullies at her new school. Recommended for ages 4+. Tickets available through BMV website in advance and at the door on the day of the concert.
