Medical Informatics Seminar Announcement! Speaker: Paolo Bonato, Ph.D. Abstract: Over the past ten years, advances in the field of wearable sensors and systems have made it possible to effectively monitor patients’ health status at home. These technologies support improved management of chronic health conditions, but also allow for prevention and early diagnosis of chronic diseases. In this talk, we will focus on recent developments in wearable technologies of great relevance to the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation where the clinical management of chronic conditions is the norm.
