Lunch & Learn with Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Group
Please join us on December 6th at noon in room 114 for lunch and an informative discussion with Peg Mulcahy, SVP of commerical lending at B of A. Bio below - Peg Mulcahy is a SVP in Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Group, based in Boston. Peg has over 30 years’ experience in the finance and acquisition of commercial real estate projects and companies, having started her career as a loan officer with Chemical Bank in the early 1980’s. Having moved to Boston in 1986, Peg worked as an Originator for AEW, providing participating senior debt for projects as well as acquiring them on behalf of pension funds, endowments and Taft Hartley funds. Starting in 1990, she worked in the Workout Division of Shawmut Bank, transitioning to head the Bank’s REIT group where they provided secured corporate lines to nascent REITs. Post the merger with Fleet Bank, Peg joined a small team who provided project and corporate financing to Developers and Owners of retail centers across the country. Many of her clients were the largest public REITs and Owners of malls. She also worked in the Bank’s Structured Finance group, providing financing to private equity funds and pension funds (separate account and co-mingled) to acquire all types of real estate assets. Prior to joining BAC’s Commercial Real Estate Group, Peg worked for 8 years at TriSail Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, which raised funds and co-invested via Mezzanine Loans and Preferred Equity in real estate projects. Peg is a founding member of NEWIRE, and an active member of ULI, NAIOP, REFA, RELA and REAIC. Bring your resume!
