BUonBroadway presents Avenue Q
Avenue Q was the Tony Award-winner for Best Musical in 2004 and is performed with half puppets, half humans. It’s also a hilarious show and the story is perfect for a college audience. The public performance rights were just released this year, which makes our version one of the first completely student-run productions. Our team is full of incredible talent. For half of our cast it’s their first BUonBroadway show and Ross Huston, winner of BU’s Funniest Student, plays an awesome Nicky. We’re also hoping to attract a large audience as we’re raising money for The Ivy Street School during the performances and “when you help others, you can’t help helping yourself!”
