GMS Yoga
A chance to learn about the beneficial effects of yoga on your mental and physical health. Sessions will include breathing exercises that reduce stress and poses that are adaptable to all skill levels. The class will conclude with a discussion about the physiologic effects of the practice and how these principles can be applied to everyday stressful situations. No previous yoga experience is necessary. Taught by an MD/PhD student who is a certified yoga teacher with more than 200 hours of training and who has an interest in how yoga can be used to prevent disease and heal illness. Please bring a mat if you own one.
