Notes From the Field: Haiti in the Aftermath
In 2010, a catastrophic 7.0 earthquake rocked Haiti. At least 250,000 people died and 3 million were left without shelter. The crisis continues two years later. The Boston University Program on Crisis Response and Reporting, in partnership with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting will host a presentation by students Megan Dhaliwal (COM '12) and Jason Hayes (SPH '12), 2012 winners of the BU-Pulitzer International Journalism Fellowship which sponsored their reporting trip to Haiti this summer. Meghan and Jason will discuss their investigative report which focused on Haiti’s ravaging cholera epidemic. They will be joined by veteran reporter Jane Regan. Presentation to be repeated at the College of Communication.
