Buried Child
An alcoholic patriarch and his adulterous wife live in squalor with their two children, an All-American football player turned semi-idiot and a son long-ago disfigured in a chainsaw accident. When a forgotten grandson and his girlfriend come to town the family's long-held secrets are revealed. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Buried Child provides an entertaining and brilliantly conceived investigation of the demise of the American Dream. Tickets: $12 general public; $10 BU Alumni, Huntington Theatre subscribers, WGBH members, students, senior citizens, and groups.
