The trouble with wilderness: a look at Ecuador's hyper-diverse Yasuni
The Yasuni Biosphere Reserve in eastern Ecuador represents a pinnacle for planetary biodiversity but its existence is threatened by ever-expanding development. Through an historical and scientific lens based at the Tiputini Biodiversity Station, we'll explore the biological riches of and pressures on this fateful bastion of western Amazonia.
