Program Oversight

BUworks receives oversight from President Brown, from the program sponsor, and from two advisory committees: a steering committee and a faculty advisory committee.

Program Sponsor

The program sponsor is responsible for the overall success of this program. They have the authority to perform, delegate, or ensure completion of all project commitments.

Executive Steering Committee

The primary role of the Executive Steering Committee is to be accountable for the program’s feasibility, strategic intents, business plan, and achievement of outcomes.

The Executive Steering Committee was established in August 2009 to manage the implementation stage of the program. This diverse committee is composed of senior-level administrators drawn from academic and administrative areas across the University.

The committee will provide guidance for the planning, budget recommendation, software selection, and implementation of the new systems so that the program results align with the University’s business objectives.
