BUworks is a complex project that will take several years to complete. Planning for BUworks began in 2006, and the new system and processes will be in place by the end of 2012.
The preparation phase of the program involved hundreds of University employees. Some 4,000-plus detailed functional requirements were identified, along with a large number of related policy and procedural issues.
