What Changed?

BUworks had two main areas of emphasis: updating our software systems and updating our business processes.

Software Systems

BUworks replaced many of the electronic systems University employees formerly used—parts of Galaxy, parts of Employee Link and Business Link, and all of the online turnarounds, online requisitions, etc.—with one state-of-the-art, efficient, integrated system.

Business Processes

BUworks streamlined many of the processes and procedures that University employees follow as they complete their work. Our business processes now take less time, have fewer steps, require fewer approvals, and are more consistent from department to department.
