This weekend, Boston University’s History Department will host a two-day conference as part of its Food and the City initiative. Held in Room 906 of the Photonics Center, the conference will focus on the historical relationship between food and cities. By incorporating multi-disciplinary and global perspectives, the conference will nurture a necessary discussion that has its roots in the past and also looks forward, aiming to inform the future of urban food systems. Ken Albala from University of the Pacific will serve as the conference keynote.
