Employee Influenza Vaccination Clinic at BU Occupational Health Center

With the flu season still peaking, getting a flu shot remains the most effective way to protect yourself from the virus. If you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet, it is not too late. The Occupational Health Center will be offering one last influenza (flu) vaccine clinic this season. The vaccine is available at no cost to Boston University employees, while supplies last. We urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. For information regarding the 2014-2015 flu vaccine please refer to the Occupational Health Center's website at http://www.bu.edu/buohc/flu/. Location: Occupational Health Center, 930 Commonwealth Ave (enter from Pleasant Street), 1st Floor Wednesday, January 21st 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Contraindications: - Severe allergy to eggs - History of severe reaction to influenza vaccination - Moderate-to-severe illness - History of Guillain-Barre syndrome - Allergy to neomycin/polymyxin Please note: - Wear a short sleeve shirt to enable easier access to your upper arm. - MA DPH recommends that all health care providers receive the influenza vaccine unless contraindicated - The Agganis Arena (lots A and C-2) offers free parking for faculty and staff with valid BU parking permits. - Parking in the Dummer Street garage will not be validated.
