Cinematheque Series: An Evening With Peggy Ahwesh
Join the College of Communication on Friday, February 24 for an evening with renowned and experimental filmmaker Peggy Ahwesh. Ahwesh’s captivating and unique shorts are influenced by such contrasting factors as feminist and gender theory, Bataille, Jack Smith, virtual realities, pornography, and Peewee’s Playhouse. The College’s Cinematheque Series will show a range of her astounding, intricate works covering twenty years of film and video. This event will begin at 7 p.m. and go until 9 p.m. It will take place in COM Room 101, and is free to BU students and their friends or guests.
