Boston University will celebrate the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (GRS’55, Hon.’59) on Monday with an event, Manifest Our Destiny, which will include talks and performances by the BU community. The celebration, one of the largest MLK Day events in Boston, is an annual event which began before the first observance of the national holiday in 1986. Manifest Our Destiny takes place Monday, January 16th at 1 p.m., in the Metcalf Ballroom in the George Sherman Union. The event is free and open to the public, and will also be broadcast live on UStream.
