Boston University hosts Greater Boston gas leaks panel and workshop
The Center for Energy and Environmental Studies and the Sustainable Cities Initiative at Boston University present a panel and workshop today, “Lost and Unaccounted Natural Gas: Energy, Economics and Environment.” Boston University researchers, research partners and local leaders in government and the private sector will discuss the extent of methane gas leaks in Boston, and will propose next steps toward resolution.
Boston University participants include Nathan Philips, Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies; and Robert Kaufman and Cutler Cleveland of the Department of Geography and Environment.
The event runs from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on Friday, September 23 in the 9th floor Metcalf Trustee Center at 1 Silber Way. The event is free and open to the public.
