Evelyn Murphy, president of the WAGE Project and a former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts, [...]addresses a female audience on gender and wage parity. Noting that women earn 23 percent less on average than their male coworkers, Murphy argues that the only way for women to close the wage gap is to fight individually for fair treatment.
