Douglas Gale, a professor of economics at New York University, speaks at the annual Robert Rosenthal [...]Memorial Lecture on Decision Making Under Uncertainty: Non-standard Preferences and/or Bounded Rationality. Gale, an economic theorist, has worked for years on this experiment, which is based on the factors surrounding decision-making.
The Robert Rosenthal Memorial Lecture series was founded in honor of Robert Rosenthal, a longtime faculty member of the College of Arts & Sciences economics department. The series brings to campus a prominent economist chosen by economics graduate students, allowing them to interact with speakers and gain insight into their field.
Hosted by the BU Graduate Economics Association and the Department of Economics on April 9, 2010.
