Undergraduate Research
Many undergraduate students choose to conduct research while at Boston University. Students are encouraged to pursue research at an undergraduate level and can do so in several ways:
- Beginning sophomore year, students can conduct Research for Credit. Research for credit takes place during the regular semester and can be done for either 2 or 4 credits.
- Seniors who meet the GPA requirements can conduct research as part of an Honors Thesis Application. The Honors Thesis requires a full 8 credits of research.
- All students have the option of pursuing research through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP)
