Human Physiology

Minor Concentration in Human Physiology (1237)

This minor is designed for students who wish to enhance their knowledge of anatomy, neuroscience, exercise science, or nutrition. Five 4-credit courses are required, with a minimum grade of C in each course.

Required Courses

The following two courses are required for the minor concentration:

SAR HS 369 Gross Human Anatomy

SAR HS 370 Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology

Plus three courses from the following:

SAR HP 565 Biomechanics

SAR HS 251 Human Nutrition Science

SAR HS 342 Exercise Physiology

SAR HS 375 Cardiopulmonary Pathophysiology

SAR HS 387 Cellular Exercise Physiology

SAR HS 550 Neural Systems
