College of Arts and SciencesEducationCollege of Arts and Sciences students who intend to complete teacher licensure requirements must make their decision early to allow for careful program planning. College of Arts and Sciences students have the option of meeting licensure requirements in secondary education by completing the required courses as a specialization, or through the Boston University Collaborative Degree Program (BUCOP). Entrance into either program must be officially reported on the appropriate forms. Interested students should make an appointment with Associate Dean Boyd Dewey at the School of Education, SED Room 243, to determine their options and to receive the appropriate application.
