The other method of supporting BU FIRST Robotics is through the FIRST e-watt program.

The FIRST Green e-watt saver bulbs are the latest energy saving light bulbs for the home. They feature LED technologies that use 88 percent less energy then regular bulbs. They also last over 9 years and are environmentally friendly (no mercury, lead, or special disposal requirements). The bulbs work in any indoor fixture, come in 450 and 800 lumen variations (to replace either 40W or 60W incandescent bulbs), and are only $15 and $25, respectively!

To buy a bulb for only $15 or $25, please email bufirst@bu.edu.
Because we cannot accept payments online, the process will involve either mailing or hand-delivering a check (made out to Boston University Academy) to Jeff Stout at BU Academy (1 University Rd. Boston, MA 02215). If done via mail, we will ship the bulb upon receipt of payment.
