This year, we are taking FIRST Tech Challenge — a robot competition like FRC, but with smaller robots — much more seriously and creating a competitive robot for it, as FTC Team 4222. We have competed in the Bridgewater Qualifier, and are going to the Massachusetts FTC Tournament, and potentially the FIRST Championship in FTC.
The robot has a scissor lift and a ball collection device. It also has omni-wheels on the front for easier turning.

Teams must place racquet balls in crates placed around the field. More points are gained for balls in stacked crates. Points are also awarded for placing the crates or bowling balls in specific areas around the field.
