On Wednesday, June 23, 2010, Boston University Experiential Education celebrated its 10,000th participant. As part of the third session of Common Ground, two students battled it out in a Rock, Paper, Scissors contest to see who would take the coveted spot. Although only one student could be number 10,000, everyone had a great time.
In March, BUEE will be offering its first Train the Trainer program at the Boston University Brussels Campus. Part of BU’s new Master of Science in Leadership, this program will open up GPS Urban Adventures to the Capital of Europe. Make sure to check back later to see pictures and find out more about how our first international program went.
BUEE will be presenting at three conferences this spring. From March 20-24 we will be at the American College Personnel Association (ACPA) Annual Convention in Boston, with both a full-day preconference session and a shorter overview during the regular conference. On April 23-25, we will be presenting at the Association for Experiential Education’s Northeast Regional Conference in Nobleboro, Maine as well as at the Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference in Albuquerque, NM from June 16-19.
BUEE is currently working on the creation of a program in the bewitching city of Salem, MA. Historically rich and accessible by rail or ferry, your group can have an exciting adventure outside of the city, and still be back by dinner! Stay tuned for more information on this new location.
