SBS Resolution No. 1122-2006 on Regulations for the Expansion of Operations

SBS Resolution No. 1122-2006 on Regulations for the Expansion of Operations, issued by the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance, regulates the means by which certain types of non-bank financial institutions – including finance companies, rural savings and credit companies, municipal savings and credit companies, and entities for the development of small and microenterprises – may receive permission to expand their operations in Peru.
The resolution is organized as follows:
- Chapter I Overview;
- Chapter II Transactions Described in the Modular Scheme;
- Chapter III Authorization Procedure;
- Chapter IV Operations Not Defined Within the Modular Scheme; and
- Chapter V Final Provisions.
