RBI Circular on Grievance Redressal Mechanism in Banks of 2008 (DBOD.No.Leg BC.81/09.07.005/2007-08), issued by the Reserve Bank of India, advises banks to implement an internal customer service mechanism that receives and addresses complaints from its customers and resolves complaints in a fair and efficient manner.
