Microfinance (Deposit Taking Microfinance Institutions) Regulations

The Microfinance (Deposit Taking Microfinance Institutions) Regulations of 2008, enacted by the Central Bank of Kenya, governing the activities of deposit-taking microfinance institutions.
These regulations address:
- Place of business;
- Capital adequacy;
- Internal controls, reporting and disclosure;
- Risk-weighting of assets; and
- Loan loss provisioning.
