The Law of the Superintendency of Banks and Other Financial Institutions (Ley de la Superintendencia de Bancos y de Otras Instituciones Financieras) establishes the Superintendency of Banks and Other Financial Institutions as an autonomous state institution in Nicaragua, responsible for authorizing, supervising, regulating and inspecting all institutions engaged in financial intermediation. This document includes amendments promulgated in Laws No. 552, 564 and 576.
