Law No. 161 on Transactions in Foreign Currency regulates foreign currency transactions in Kyrgyz Republic.
This law discusses the following:
- General provisions;
- Transfer and exchange of currency;
- Organization of exchange operations;
- Organization and operations on external payments; and
- Supervision of operations in foreign currency.
Amendments to this law were made in February 2010 by the legislature and are pending signature by the President of Kyrgyz Republic.
