Government Notice No. 271 on Tanzania Communications (Consumer Protection) Regulations

Government Notice No. 271 on Communications (Consumer Protection) Regulations of 2005, issued by the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority, require electronic communication operators and postal operators to:

  • Establish customer care system;
  • Implement complaint handling procedure; and
  • Provide clients with a clear and understandable description of available services and the terms, conditions, rates, and charges for the services, and publish them periodically.
