Competition Promotion and Market Protection Act No. 35

Competition Promotion and Market Protection Act No. 35 of 2007 aims to make the national economy of Nepal more open, liberal, market-oriented and competitive while enhancing national productivity.

This act consists of the following sections:

  • Preliminary;
  • Anti-Competitive Practices;
  • Constitution, and Functions, Duties and Powers of the Board;
  • Provisions relating to Offence and Punishment;
  • Provisions relating to Investigation and Filing of Cases; and
  • Miscellaneous.
