Companies Amendment Act No. 20

The Companies Amendment Act No. 20 further amends the South African Companies Act No. 61 of 1973. The Amendment Act defines the term “Director of Public Prosecutions,” and amends provisions pertaining to: the removal of the names of person from certain registers of companies; disqualification of persons from serving on the management of companies; and the authorization of the Registrar of Companies to keep a register of such disqualified persons.
